Measure a beginner funnel

Track the few numbers that reveal whether traffic, signup and follow-up are working together.

Metrics should point to decisions. A new funnel needs enough visibility to locate friction, but checking tiny changes every day can produce random edits before the data means anything.

Put this into practice

  1. Track visits to the signup page.
  2. Measure completed signups against unique visitors.
  3. Review delivery, clicks and replies from the welcome sequence.
  4. Record tool-link clicks separately from purchases.
  5. Review weekly at first and make one change at a time.
YOUR NEXT ACTION

Create a one-page scorecard with traffic, signups, engaged subscribers and conversions.

Start with a useful first version. Check what works, update what does not, and keep the experience clear for the person visiting your site.
