Follow these actions
Write the home page
State who you help or what the site offers in the first heading. Follow with a short explanation and one clear next action.
Create About
Under Pages → Add New, explain who you are, what you do, and what a visitor should expect. Add a real photo only if you want it public.
Create Contact
Add a public email address or a contact form you have tested. For a business, add service area and hours if relevant.
Add your specific page
Create Services for offerings, Portfolio for work samples, or a Blog page for posts. Start with accurate information you can maintain.
Update navigation
Go to Appearance → Editor and edit the Navigation block in the header. Include only the pages you want visitors to see.
Check each destination
Open the public site and select every menu item and main button. Fix missing pages and leftover sample links.
Before you move on
Home, About, and Contact contain my information.
The menu goes to the correct pages.
There is one obvious next action for visitors.
